Polyverse Unveils Generative AI and Enhanced Features

Polyverse’s update introduces GenAI Polytrons, multimedia support, and an enhanced UI, revolutionizing content creation.

Abstract has unveiled a transformative update to its Polyverse platform, integrating generative AI and robust multimedia support to streamline content creation. The update introduces powerful “Polytrons,” AI-driven tools designed to enhance workflows for 3D artists, animators, and multimedia professionals.

Key features include the GenAI Image to Mesh Polytron, which generates optimized 3D models from a single image, and the GenAI Image to Quad Mesh Polytron, creating models with pure quad topology for DCC applications. The GenAI Text to Image Polytron produces images from text prompts, while the GenAI Image Background Removal Polytron simplifies asset preparation. For image organization, the GenAI Image to Caption and Object Detection Polytrons enable automatic captioning and labeling. The GenAI Text to Speech Polytron delivers high-quality voiceovers, ideal for video narration.

Polyverse now supports audio and video assets, with automatic thumbnails, waveform visualizations, and in-platform playback. New Polytrons like Audio File Encoding and Video Frame to Image enhance multimedia processing. User interface improvements include a version compare view, full-screen asset viewer, and flexible 3D asset downloads leveraging automatic LOD generation.
