The Game Developers Conference (GDC) is the premier annual event for showcases of the latest advancements in game development technology.

GDC is a pivotal event that drives the future of the game industry, offering a platform for idea-sharing, addressing industry challenges, and connecting with professionals from around the world. Abstract is thrilled to be exhibiting once again at this year’s GDC at the Moscone Center. As part of our ongoing commitment to innovation, Abstract is thrilled to demonstrate how our cutting-edge 3D and AI advancements can empower industry leaders to achieve faster, more cost-effective, and more creative results on their projects.

Meet us at GDC in 2025

Last year, we were thrilled to introduce Abstract Polyverse, a game-changing platform for digital asset management that draws on Abstract’s deep expertise in 2D and 3D processing. With Polyverse, users could process assets and build remote data processing pipelines, making asset transformation seamless and efficient with Polytron-based workflows. And while it’s quickly shaping up for release, Polyverse is starting to deeply ingrain itself within our ecosystem. Polyverse works seamlessly within InstaLOD Studio and we’re building off this momentum to not only integrate it across our portfolio, but also extend its offering with our deep knowledge of generative AI and computational geometry.

We also shipped InstaMAT last year and revolutionized material creation and texturing workflows. The latest release offers AAA terrain generation with features like erosion, water, and snow simulations, allowing artists to procedurally generate terrain, apply textures, and export complete scenes, all within a single graph —eliminating the need for switching between multiple software solutions. New curve nodes offer greater flexibility for organic shapes, while enhanced viewport features like ray-traced shadows ensure accurate previews, and the addition of stylized texture nodes to easily create stylized textures and materials.

This year, RSX Engine enters Early Access, marking a major leap in real-time collaborative editing. Developed over five years, it enables seamless multi-user collaboration with instant cloud sync and enterprise-grade security. Powered by WebGPU, it delivers cinematic-quality rendering on web and desktop—no specialized hardware needed. Its versatile toolset includes no-code logic creation, advanced animation, AI-driven navigation, and native TypeScript support, making development faster and more efficient. With modular design, cross-platform deployment, built-in InstaLOD optimization and CAD import, and a robust integration with Polyverse, RSX Engine streamlines any workflow, whether it’s enterprise or entertainment.

With heavy advances across our 3D and AI technologies, we’re excited to walk you through all of them during this year’s GDC:

  • InstaLOD – everything you need for the production and automatic optimization of 3D content.
  • InstaMAT – elemental tools for the design and automation of 3D materials, assets and texturing.
  • RSX Engine – the only 3D engine that helps teams build in 3D, together. Early Access is right around the corner
  • Abstract Polyverse – leading digital asset management to make your 2D and 3D assets viewable, versionable, and scalable.
  • InstaREC – effective photogrammetry and scan processing technology for 3D data.
